The Katonah Museum of Art and the Westchester Youth Alliance invite you to a hands-on workshop with master calligrapher, Elinor Aishah Holland. Together we will explore the power of words through written script and make calligraphic artworks. The evening will include a special tour of KMA’s exhibition, Long, Winding Journeys: Contemporary Art and the Islamic Tradition, art making activities, dinner, and vibrant discussion. This is the KMA’s first collaboration with the WYA, an interfaith organization for teens that fosters deep and lasting relationships among diverse communities.
