WYA spent the morning with the Westchester Marine Corp Reserve Toys for Tots program in Hastings on Hudson sorting toys by developmental range for families throughout Westchester that do not have the ability to provide toys this year. 

Volunteers helped out by counting and sorting toys, bagging toys for agency pickup, receiving toys from other donors and field volunteers and moving the toys to outbound staging areas. The toys go to participating agencies providing resources for local underserved communities. Agencies include the Westchester Department of Social Services, Open Door Family Medical Centers, and local churches.
