On Saturday we joined the Westchester Parks Foundation Earth Day clean-up and helped to manage over 6,700 square feet of invasive species at Tibbets Brook Park in Yonkers. 

Our hard-working teens were excited to be part of Pitch in for Parks and connect with Senator Andrea Stewart-Cousins and her Youth Advisory Council. 

WYA’s mission of building community and understanding through leadership and service was empowered by the Senator’s commitment to the future of our youth, our ecosystems, and our community. We were so honored that the Senator joined us for a picnic lunch and conversation with the all the teens.
